POSITION AVAILABLE: FOOD AND BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR

A Food and Beverage (F&B) Supervisor manages daily dining and beverage operations. They oversee waitstaff and bartenders, ensure exceptional customer service, handle guest concerns, manage inventory, and enforce health and safety regulations. This role bridges the gap between front line staff and F&B management.
Core Responsibilities
  • Staff Leadership: Train, schedule, and mentor service staff. Lead shift briefings, delegate tasks, and motivate the team to achieve service goals.
  • Guest Experience: Act as a hands-on presence on the dining floor. Greet guests, assist with seating, and promptly resolve any complaints or issues.
  • Operational Control: Ensure dining areas, bars, and stations are clean and properly stocked. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for F&B supplies when necessary.
  • Finance & Administration: Compile and balance cash receipts, process payments, and assist management with controlling labor and operating costs.
  • Compliance: Enforce food hygiene, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Typically 2+ years of prior experience as an F&B server, bartender, or team leader, ideally in a hotel or busy restaurant environment.
  • Certifications: Many roles require valid Food Handler Certification and an alcohol server permit (e.g., TIPS or local equivalent).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and adaptable during peak business hours.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and routinely lift/carry items weighing up to 25–30 pounds.
