We are seeking a hardworking, energetic, and reliable Barback to support our bartending team and help maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, work efficiently under pressure, and contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Barback plays a key role in ensuring smooth bar operations by restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, assisting bartenders, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting daily bar setup and closing duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders during service to ensure efficient bar operations
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and other bar supplies
• Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, and other bar ingredients as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, storage areas, and service stations
• Collect and wash glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
• Remove trash and recycling promptly and safely
• Refill ice bins and ensure supplies are consistently available throughout service
• Assist with opening and closing bar duties
• Help receive and organize inventory deliveries
• Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are followed
• Support bartenders and management with additional tasks as required
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests when needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift heavy items, including cases of beverages and ice
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Hospitality or food handling certification is a plus
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage service preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in busy and high-energy environments
