Summary:

Vice President of Operations oversees the overall operations of The Cove and The Reef. Implements policies and procedures that assure high service standards are consistently delivered. Challenges staff through training, education and succession planning while developing committed and passionate people who will, in turn, establish successful and rewarding careers in the hospitality industry. Develop fiscal controls and operating procedures to ensure that the budgeted financial results are achieved, and all guest satisfaction goals are exceeded.

Required Qualifications: 

• Proven leadership skills in leading in a senior or executive role in a Resort.
• Minimum of five (5) years in an executive leadership role in hotel/resort operations with some food and beverage experience.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• Highly Developed strategic and analytical capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and intense environment.
• Experience in working in a Union environment and will display an excellent ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively.
• A proven track record of strong leadership skills, sound business judgment and flexibility.
• Strong financial acumen with a high propensity for successfully driving revenues and building teams.
• Ability to be resourceful and to work under aggressive timelines.
• Superior leadership abilities and financial decision-making skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• A proven track record for delivering quality operational results.
• Demonstrated ability to work long and flexible hours.
• Strong attention to detail.
• International experience at the executive level.
• Proficiency in technology information systems as well as Microsoft office applications.
