Sales Representative
Job Summary
This position is responsible for selling a wide range of premium health and beauty aid brands and other consumer products primarily to the grocery, pharmacy, hair care, gas station and hospitality markets. The sales representative serves as a principal link between Lowe’s Wholesale and customers to ensure satisfaction and revenue growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and grows sales territory in order to increase customer satisfaction, company revenue and profitability.
- Makes regular and scheduled sales calls to secure purchase orders from particular customers in assigned geographical areas.
- Achieves sales targets on a monthly basis.
- Liaises with the sales manager and marketing staff to ensure brand objectives are achieved.
- Monitors customer inventory levels to minimize out of stock situations.
- Conducts regular follow-up to ensure that orders are processed on time and customers are satisfied with service.
- Develops strong business relationships with customers to add value and drive sales.
- Ensures prompt follow-up on any commitment made during customer contact.
- Collaborates with personnel to resolve any customer issue or conflict.
- Keeps abreast of all competitive activities, prices, products and industry developments.
- Manages sales expenses within budget.
- Maintains professional working relationships with colleagues.
- Keeps appropriate records relating to the discharge of his/her responsibilities.
- Executes any other duty assigned by senior management.
