A Security Officer  is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and property through active patrolling, and crowd control. They manage intoxicated patrons, handle, disturbances, and prepare incident reports.  

Key Responsibilities

• Patrolling & Surveillance: Conduct regular foot patrols of the premises to prevent, detect, and deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry. 
• Crowd & Access Control: Manage entry and exit points, checking IDs for age verification if necessary. Monitor guest behavior in bar areas to prevent, disturbances and manage intoxicated individuals.

Requirements and Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English to communicate effectively with patrons and staff.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand and walk for long periods and handle, potentially physical confrontations.
