JOB TITLE: Delivery Driver

REPORTS TO: Franchise Business Leader and General Manager

Position Overview

As an integral part of our Sales Team, our Delivery Drivers are the face of Marco’s Pizza for a vast amount of our Guests. As such, we are looking for those who thrive on positive interactions with Guests and who display genuine pride in the Marco’s family, our products, and our goal of providing every Guest with a Five-Star experience. Please read the requirements below to gain further insight into what we are looking for in our Delivery Drivers. It is expected that you become fully cross-trained within the Marco’s System and perform additional duties vital to running successful restaurant operations.


  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards
  • Have a safe vehicle that is, and will remain, in compliance with all applicable local laws and safety requirements, and which presents a professional, clean, hospitable image to Marco’s Pizza Guests
  • Current Health Certificate and Police Certificate
  • A strong, professional, and courteous work ethic, integrity, and staunch moral behaviors that reflect favorably upon themselves and Marco’s Pizza
  • Demonstrate teamwork and a sense of urgency
  • Be able to adopt the Marco’s Cultural Beliefs and consistently demonstrate them

Essential Functions and Skills

  • The safe and courteous operation of a motor vehicle via defensive driving
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly. Must be able to count cash and make correct monetary change
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area. Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes and other delivery sites while carrying product
  • The ability to comply with all safety and security policies and procedures as outlined by the company handbook and additional safety and security guidelines  The ability to remain calm and focused in high tempo and stressful environments
  • The ability to work flexible hours in accordance with the needs of the restaurant
  • Maintain compliance with all corporate-mandated training certification requirements including Marco’s University virtual training completion
  • Maintain compliance with all company, store and local policies, procedures, laws and ordinances as required (particularly with regards to food, health, and safety)
  • Maintains clean, presentable, and professional personal appearance
  • Avoid any use of personal electronic devices while on the clock without the permission of direct supervisor
  • The ability to use store technology and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Receive and process telephone orders
  • Performs final quality and accuracy check of all orders
  • Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
  • Follows Marco’s procedures when assisting with the preparation of food
  • Communicates frequently with management and other employees including speed of service times at the cut-table and when leaving the restaurant Assist with other duties as assigned by restaurant management
