Commission-based Sales Representative Needed

A New Providence-based distributor is looking to hire an entry-level sales representative to join their sales team. The individual must be reliable, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and have their own transportation. The successful candidate must also be resourceful and have great communication skills. The sales representative will have a flexible work schedule and have the opportunity to earn weekly commission for product sales generated. The sales representative will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Requirements

-Age 18-30

-Possess a valid driving license

-Own a reliable vehicle

-Clean police record

-Good verbal and written communication

-Sales Experience a plus

Responsibilities

-Conduct site visits to new and current customers

-Hand out product samples and provide product information to potential customers

-Encourage sale of company products

-Receive calls from customers on company provided phone

-Receive and relay customer orders to Sales Manager

-Receive cash/check payments and handover to Accounts Receivable Clerk when needed

-Clearly communicate and provide updates to Sales Manager regarding customer queries/concerns
