The Sales Associate is responsible for generating new business and expanding the firm’s client base by promoting and selling a suite of financial service products. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of financial solutions, and the ability to match client needs with the right products. The ideal candidate is motivated, goal-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional client experiences while meeting revenue targets.

1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Development

  • Identify, engage, and acquire prospective clients through networking, referrals, lead generation, and outbound sales activities.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their financial goals and recommend appropriate products.

  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product consultations.

2. Product Sales & Advisory

  • Promote and sell the firm’s financial service products, which may include insurance, investments, retirement planning, savings plans, brokerage services, corporate services, and other advisory offerings.

  • Assess client financial needs and suitability to ensure accurate product recommendations.

  • Explain product features, benefits, pricing, risks, and terms in a clear, compliant, and professional manner.

3. Sales Targets & Performance Management

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the firm.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, pipeline activity, and client interactions using CRM tools.

  • Prepare sales reports and participate in performance review sessions.

4. Compliance & Professional Standards

  • Ensure all sales activities adhere to firm policies, industry regulations, and regulatory requirements in The Bahamas and/or relevant jurisdictions.

  • Stay updated on financial products, regulatory changes, and market trends.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all client dealings.

5. Team Collaboration & Contribution

  • Collaborate with internal departments including underwriting, client onboarding, compliance, and customer service to ensure smooth client experiences.

  • Participate in training sessions, product knowledge workshops, and team meetings.

  • Contribute ideas to improve sales processes, product offerings, and customer engagement.
